Walton County will begin accepting Beach Driving Lottery Applications for the 2024 Lottery on April 1, 2024.

Applications will be accepted by mail, in person, or online through May 10, 2024. Applicants must be full-time Walton County residents and meet all requirements as outlined in Ordinance 2022-02. Applications will not be accepted unless all eligibility requirements are met and all documentation is provided at the time of submission. Incomplete applications will not be eligible for the lottery drawing.

Walton County, FL - The long-awaited bridge reconstruction at Deer Lake on 30A is almost finished! According to the latest update from Walton County Public Works, the reconstruction work on the bridge is now complete. The next step in the process is paving, which will commence as soon as the weather conditions allow.
As soon as the weather permits, which we hope will be in the near future, the remaining work will be completed in just a few days. This puts us on track for a potential road reopening during the first or second week of March 2024!
