Last Call Before Fall! Fun Things To Do on 30A in September

September at the beach usually means thinner crowds, with summer temperatures beginning to dip. But this month, we’re still feeling like a ‘cat on a hot tin roof’!

While it may still be hot, there are plenty of ways to chill out and have fun over the next few weeks along the beaches of 30A.  We've put together a lineup of events you won't want to miss before the Fall festival season begins:

See a Show at The REP

The Repertory Theater in Seaside has live entertainment all year round, whether it’s musical performances, theatrical plays, or an interactive kids’ Improv Bootcamp! Check out their current lineup for Sept./Oct. 2023.

2023 Patriot's Run Santa Rosa Beach Half Marathon + 10K/5K at Topsail Hill Preserve State Park 

Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 6:00 a.m. - As always, a portion of the proceeds from registration for the Patriot’s Run is going to the Fisher House of the Emerald Coast. This is a fantastic organization that is doing incredible things for our local military families during times of need. Kayak Eco Tour – Camp Helen Paddle on Lake Powell 

Thursday, September 14, 2023 - Join Camp Helen State Park Ranger staff for a leisurely 90-minute paddle on Lake Powell, the largest Coastal Dune Lake in North America. Learn about the history, natural communities, and wildlife that make this Outstanding Florida Water so unique and important. This guided kayak tour will be enjoyable for individuals, families, and groups. Must be 12 years of age or older and able to navigate your own kayak independently.

Tacos Under The Trees  

Saturday, Sept. 16, 2023 - The E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center is partying with Tacos Under the Trees! Enjoy a welcome cocktail, entertainment, and a ride through the forest on the new St. Joe Community Foundation ‘Turtle Train’ through the forest to Camp Longleaf, where you will enjoy a festive afternoon with bottomless Margaritas and delicious tacos by La Paz Restaurant and Cantina.

Chef’s Table Series with Chef John Engle

The Courtyard at Pescado is hosting a September Chef’s Table Series with Chef John Engle. Dinners will take place every Wednesday in September at 6:30 p.m. and are by reservation only.

Sounds of Seaside

Bring your chairs or blanket, snacks, and drinks, and enjoy live music at the Seaside Amphitheater on Saturday afternoons through the Fall. This event is free to the public!

The Gulf Place Wine Walk

On the third Thursday of every month, the Gulf Place Merchants host the popular Wine Walk. For $25, Wine Walk attendees can enjoy samplings of hand-selected wines, light appetizers, live music, and giveaways while browsing through all of the eclectic Gulf Place boutiques. Featuring jewelry, artwork, clothing, and many other unique gifts, event-goers can enjoy the evening sipping and shopping in Gulf Place.

30A Art Walk
