Grayton Beach Municipal Parking Facility
Convenience meets sustainability at the Grayton Beach Municipal Parking Facility. This multi-level transit hub at 1505 S. Co. Hwy. 283 is designed to enhance the beach-going experience with 204 parking spaces, including ADA, electric car, low-speed vehicle (LSV), and bicycle parking. Public restrooms and transportation facilities will make this a go-to spot for seamless access to the beach and multi-use paths.
- Construction Timeline: Began March 2024, expected completion by Spring 2025.
Grayton Beach Community Center
Set to become a vibrant community hub, the Grayton Beach Community Center will be located at 44 Hotz Avenue. Once complete, this 1,600-square-foot facility will offer an observation deck, restrooms, a boardwalk to the beach, and access to the Beach Tram. It’s more than an access point—it’s an experience!
- Timeline: Awarded to JM Phelps Construction, LLC in October 2024, with completion anticipated in November 2025
393 Municipal Parking Facility
Just a short stroll from the Ed Walline Regional Beach Access, the 393 Municipal Parking Facility at 1668 S. Co. Hwy. 393 will feature 74 parking spaces, including ADA and LSV parking. A transit building with restrooms and bicycle parking ensures that every visitor has what they need to enjoy the area.
- Construction Timeline: Began March 2024, completion by Spring 2025.
Camp Creek Lake Canoe & Kayak Launch
For those who love exploring the coastal dune lakes, the new Camp Creek Lake Canoe & Kayak Launch at 121 S. Camp Creek Road South is a game-changer. This park will include an ADA-accessible pier and launch, bike parking, and thoughtful landscaping.
- Construction Timeline: Started June 2024, with completion expected in January 2025.
Seagrove Regional Beach Access (RBA)
In the heart of Seagrove, this brand-new regional beach access will feature dedicated parking, a 1,011-square-foot restroom facility, and a handicap-accessible dune walkover. Connectivity to the multi-use path ensures easy access for everyone.
- Timeline: Construction began in July 2024, with a 10-month completion window.
Seagrove: Walton Dunes Regional Beach Access
Located at 258 Beachfront Trail, this project includes 14 parallel parking spaces and an ADA-accessible boardwalk. However, the project is currently on hold as it awaits a final ruling from the Zoning Board of Adjustments.
- Status: Under appeal, pending a development order decision.
Old Seagrove: S. Headland Street Neighborhood Beach Access
Nestled on S. Headland Ave., this project focuses on improved pedestrian access. It includes a new sidewalk, boardwalk, and dune walkover, all connecting to the multi-use path for a seamless experience.
- Timeline: Bid awarded in November 2024, with construction beginning in December and expected completion in five months.
