As fall settles in along 30A, the calendar comes alive with art, food & drink festivals, and immersive music experiences. From coastal wine tastings to jazz stages and vintage car showcases, here’s what to watch for this season.

Inaugural Cars of 30A
October 3–4, Alys Beach
Vintage and exotic automobiles roll into Alys Beach for a weekend of elegance and horsepower. A prime chance to explore beautiful rides against a stunning coastal backdrop. 

Moon Crush / Avett Moon Music Experience
October 3–5
A three-night fall music weekend blending Americana, indie, and soulful acts across local venues. Expect curated performances in an intimate South Walton setting. 

Destin Songwriter Festival
October 10–11
Singer-songwriters take center stage. A perfect pairing of lyrical storytelling and beachfront vibes in this multi-day festival. 

10th Annual Bloody Mary Festival
October 11, The Market Shops
Brunch meets bold flavors — sample creative bloody marys from local restaurants, enjoy live entertainment, and stroll the Market Shops. 

Harvest Wine & Food Festival (WaterColor)
October 16–19
Four days of gourmet tastings, chef events, wine pairings, and culinary competition in the scenic WaterColor setting. 

SOWAL Jazz Fest (Inaugural)
November 6–8, Various 30A Venues
The much-anticipated launch of South Walton’s dedicated jazz festival. Choose your shows, venues, and musical moods across three nights of performances.
Featured acts include tributes to Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, and Amy Winehouse, plus “The Quiet Storm” with coastal jazz and Southern soul

Flutterby Art Festival 

November 9, The Pavilion at Watersound Town Center

The festival offers live entertainment for the entire family, including art activities such as the butterfly wing creation station and craft-making, as well as the butterfly learning center, carnival games, and a Flutterby Frenzy at the end of each day.

Idyll Hounds: Houndfest 11

Halloween in Seaside®
