Walton County is taking a forward-looking approach and wants to hear directly from the people who live, work, and invest here.

County officials have opened a public survey inviting community members to share their input on priorities that will shape the future of Walton County. From infrastructure and growth to quality of life and long-term planning, this feedback will play a key role in guiding decisions over the next several years.

The survey supports the County’s preparation for its Fiscal Year 2027–2032 Strategic Plan, which will outline goals, initiatives, and investments to address current and future needs. As Walton County grows, particularly in South Walton and along 30A, careful planning is essential.

For homeowners, buyers, and investors, this survey is a real chance to help shape the community’s future. In the past, feedback from residents and stakeholders has helped set priorities, from improving infrastructure to planning for long-term growth.

Although the County has not provided a detailed post-survey process, feedback is typically compiled and used to guide discussions at public meetings, where priorities are refined and included in the final Strategic Plan.

Residents can expect further opportunities for engagement. Previous planning efforts included public meetings and listening sessions, indicating there will likely be ways to remain involved as the plan develops.
