Seagrove Village Market-Cafe
This year, the Seagrove Village Market-Cafe celebrates its 75th anniversary! It was started in 1949 by C.H. McGee (aka "Cube" McGee) for travelers seeking necessities in a remote, untouched paradise. Since then, generations of guests have returned yearly to dine, purchase souvenirs, and experience life on the beach as it once was. It is a family-run market and cafe known for fresh seafood and a laid-back, nostalgic atmosphere.
When they first opened, customers drove their Plymouth Convertibles and De Luxe Fords from near and far to sink their teeth into the best burgers and fried seafood baskets on 30A. The menu hasn't changed much in 75 years—their legendary burgers and grouper sandwiches remain menu staples. But along the way, they've added a few other options, including po-boy sandwiches, fresh salads, and fish tacos to keep guests coming back for more.
Bud & Alley's Restaurant
Recently noted as one of Florida's "Most Legendary" restaurants in Southern Living Magazine, Bud & Alley's Restaurant, founded in 1986, certainly stands as one of Seaside's and Scenic 30A's most beloved dining spots. Named after the town of Seaside's founder's dog and the restaurant owner's cat, a dining tradition was born, where sharing good food with good people and having a good time has become a way of life. With its rooftop bar offering stunning Gulf views and its dedication to fresh, locally sourced cuisine, Bud & Alley's has maintained its reputation as a pillar of culinary tradition and community spirit on 30A. As longtime fans, we must recommend the crab cakes!

Modica Market
Modica Market, a Seaside, FL, staple since 1989, is more than just a market. It's a place where you're not just a customer but a part of the family. Offering gourmet groceries, prepared foods, and a treasure trove of unique finds, this family-owned market, with its roots in Alabama, is synonymous with quality and Southern hospitality.
"We have a lot of history in small town neighborhood stores, and what those responsibilities are to those communities," Modica, whose family previously owned a grocery store in Alabama, says. "Markets like this are unique not only for food and drink but for socializing, family gatherings, and children having their first jobs." Says Charles Modica, Jr.
With its delightful deli and personalized service, Modica Market has served the 30A community for decades, providing residents and visitors with a taste of tradition and excellence.
The Red Bar
The Red Bar, an iconic fixture in Grayton Beach, has a storied history that began in 1995 when Belgian-born entrepreneur Olivier Petit transformed an old general store into a vibrant eatery and live music venue. With funky decor, an ultra-casual atmosphere, five or so entrees, and world-class bands, this place attracts a cultlike devotion from visitors and residents who happily endure out-the-door lines to snag a table.
Despite a devastating fire in 2019 that destroyed the original building, The Red Bar's legacy of community spirit and coastal charm endured. Rebuilt and reopened in 2020, it continues to be a cornerstone of 30A culture, drawing crowds - and even celebrities like Willie Nelson and Sheryl Crow, among others - with its unique blend of great food, lively entertainment, and a welcoming vibe.
Cafe Thirty-A
Since opening in 1995, Cafe Thirty-A has become a culinary landmark in Seagrove Beach. Renowned for its sophisticated yet relaxed ambiance, this upscale eatery specializes in contemporary American cuisine with a focus on fresh, local seafood. With a dedication to local and seasonal ingredients, the menu can change a couple of times a week based on what is available, an essential combination when creating the best in fine dining. They also host two of the area's most significant charity events: Soiree on the Bay and the annual Christmas Charity Ball. Consistently delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional service, Cafe Thirty-A has earned its place as a favorite among locals and visitors, embodying the elegance and charm of the 30A dining scene.
Whether you're a longtime local or an adventurous traveler seeking a genuine taste, remember: it's not just the food—it's the tradition. Enjoy every bite!
