Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and we’re celebrating with a roundup of holiday meal happenings throughout South Walton. Whether you’re looking for a sit-down meal at one of our local restaurants or to-go meal options that can feed families big and small, there’s something for everyone in South Walton.

CARRY OUT OPTIONS

Blue Mountain Bakery: Offering a fully cooked pick-up menu with reheat instructions, the family feast package is designed to feed five to six people and has specially marked gluten-free options. All orders must be placed online at bluemountainbakery.com, with pick-up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, November 23. More information is available here.

Chanticleer Eatery: Chanticleer will offer family-style Thanksgiving catering for pickup on Tuesday or Wednesday and serve a plated lunch on Thanksgiving Day. More information is available on their website here. Reservations or catering orders can be made by calling the restaurant at 850.213.9065.

Café Thirty-A: The dining room is already at capacity for Thanksgiving, but you can take a piece of Cafe Thirty-A home with you as a Thanksgiving to-go meal that feeds six for $360. Visit cafethirtya.com or call 850.231.2166 for more details.

Modica Market: Reserve your organic, free-range Thanksgiving turkey ready to cook at home, along with side dishes ranging from corn souffle to sweet potato pie. Ham and tenderloin are also available. Call 850.231.1214 or visit modicamarket.com/seasonal for more.

Farm & Fire: Executive chef Nick is offering two Thanksgiving options — a filling buffet of classic dishes with Farm & Fire’s quintessential twist or a pick-up and bake meal for four (to be picked up Wednesday, Nov. 23). DINE-IN OPTIONS

Chanticleer Eatery: Chanticleer will offer dine-in reservations on Thursday, Nov. 24, with a special Thanksgiving menu for lunch only. Limited availability!

Vue on 30A: Served on Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Reservations are required. To reserve your spot today, please call. No dinner services will be provided on this date. The price is $58.95+ tax per adult and $18.95+ tax per child (12 and under). Ages 3 and under are free.

Ambrosia Prime Seafood & Steaks: One of the area’s newest restaurants, Ambrosia, will host Thanksgiving at its WaterSound Town Center address from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Book your table at ambrosia30a.com or call 850.909.0100.

Cuvee 30A:  Enjoy Chef Tim Creehan’s scrumptious Louisiana fried turkey and an assortment of traditional trimmings, side dishes and desserts from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thanksgiving Day. Visit https://cuvee30a.com/thanksgiving for menu and reservation opportunities, which are highly recommended. The cost is $89.99 for adults and $49.99 for children younger than 10.

North Beach Social: Stop by from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the regular menu, a special Thanksgiving plate, and $2 mimosas all day. Music will be provided by Donnie Sundal from 1 to 4 p.m. Visit their website for more details.

The Great Southern Cafe: Indulge in a seated buffet that’s plated for you. Seatings occur between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. with a regular dinner service beginning at 5 p.m. Reservations for morning/afternoon seating can be made by phone beginning at 8 a.m., Nov. 1. Stinky’s Fish Camp: Open 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for Thanksgiving dinner and a regular dinner menu for those who don’t like turkey. It’s the only day of the year that Stinky’s accepts reservations. Reach them at 850.267.3053 or visit stinkysfishcamp.com.

The Bay: Plans are underway for a Thanksgiving lunch served from 11 a.m to 3 p.m., with reservations opening November 1 at 11 a.m via telephone only. No dinner service is planned. Old Florida Fish House:  Old Florida Fish House offers a traditional Thanksgiving meal from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Call 850.534.3045 for reservations or visit www.oldfloridafishhouse.com for more details.

Down Island Gulf Seafood Restaurant: Chef Brannon Janca will present his first Thanksgiving feast with three courses for $48. The first course will be a choice of lobster bisque or shaved Brussels sprout salad. The second course will be a turkey plate with oven-roasted and spice-injected turkey with gravy, oyster dressing, Too Too’s corn souffle, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole with pecans and marshmallows, and mayhaw-cranberry sauce. The third course will be a choice of banana foster bread pudding, wood-fired pumpkin pie, or pistachio creme brulee. Beach Cow at WaterColor Beach Club: On Nov. 24, from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m., guests of WaterColor Resort can stop by The Beach Cow in the WaterColor Beach Club this Thanksgiving to try out a pumpkin pie milkshake, served with caramel syrup, whipped cream and graham cracker crumbs.

Fish Out of Water: The Fish Out of Water restaurant is offering Thanksgiving-themed options throughout the day on Nov. 24, including a pumpkin-spiced croffle, shaved turkey Reuben, warm sweet potato casserole, and brown butter Pecan ice cream from 8 a.m. - 2 p.m. The Thanksgiving Feast is from 4 p.m. - 9 p.m., with roasted turkey breast, fried maple almond Brussels sprouts, green bean casserole, cornbread stuffing, candied yams, Boursin-whipped potatoes, turkey gravy and cranberry sauce.

WaterColor LakeHouse Buffet: The WaterColor LakeHouse is offering a special Thanksgiving Buffet on Nov. 24 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m., featuring everything from a breakfast corner (offering familiar favorites like scrambled eggs, crisp applewood bacon, French toast and hot oatmeal porridge) to a bakery section (house-baked rolls, breakfast Danish and pastries, banana bread and more), along with an iced seafood and raw bar, a carving station featuring herb-roasted whole turkey and herb peppercorn-crusted prime rib, a wide selection of main and side dishes, desserts and even a kid’s menu! Price for the WaterColor LakeHouse Buffet is $85 per adult, $45 per child ages 6 to 12, and complimentary for children 5 and under.

The Pearl Hotel: Havana Beach Bar & Grill at The Pearl Hotel is offering a Thanksgiving Grand Buffet this year on Nov. 24, with seating times from 11 a.m. - 7 p.m. Highlights include an Emerald Coast seafood display with poached Gulf shrimp, cocktail crab claws, smoked tuna dip, oysters on the half shell, and Gulf Coast ceviche; entrees including roasted turkey with sage-shallot butter, herb-roasted prime rib at a chef-attended carving station, maple-bourbon glazed ham, and blackened Red Snapper; and a selection of house baked desserts including pies, tarts and much more!
