The availability of properties on the market to purchase (aka: active inventory) during the first few weeks of 2021 does remain at historically low levels. While the number of active, serious buyers in search of properties continues to be remarkably high. These two factors combined continue to drive the market price for 30A homes, condos, and town-homes in an upward direction. Because of the lack of availability and a larger pool of buyers, it is not unusual for owners to receive multiple offers within days of going active on the market. It is also worth noting that statistics show that many properties are currently selling within 98% - to 100+ % of asking price.
