One of South Walton's most anticipated weekends is on the calendar. Tickets are now on sale for the 30A Songwriters Festival, returning over the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend, January 16–19, 2027.

The 30A Songwriters Festival is now in its 18th year and has grown into the biggest and most respected songwriters festival in the Southeast. Music fans from around the world come to enjoy great performances in special venues along Florida's Gulf Coast.

This year, more than 175 well-known songwriters will perform over four days in more than 30 venues along Scenic Highway 30A. You can enjoy small shows in cozy rooms for under 100 people or see big concerts for thousands at Grand Boulevard's Town Center and the Seaside Amphitheater. Each show gives you a different way to enjoy live music.

The 30A Songwriters Festival stands out because of its location. Venues are spread across beach towns like WaterColor, Grayton Beach, Seaside, Alys Beach, Seacrest, Rosemary Beach, Blue Mountain Beach, Grand Boulevard, and Sandestin. This gives guests a chance to enjoy South Walton's beauty while listening to great music.

Whether you prefer large outdoor concerts or intimate songwriter sessions, the festival has something for every music fan.

Since starting in 2010, the festival has welcomed famous artists like Jackson Browne, Lyle Lovett, Brandi Carlile, Brian Wilson, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello, John Prine, Melissa Etheridge, Jason Isbell, Mavis Staples, Indigo Girls, and many others. The festival has also helped new artists become well-known across the country.

Russell Carter Artist Management and the Cultural Arts Alliance of Walton County co-produce the festival. All net proceeds go to the Cultural Arts Alliance to support arts education, public art, scholarships, artist grants, and cultural programs in Walton County.

One important reminder: Festival tickets must be exchanged for an official wristband at Festival Headquarters before attending performances. Tickets alone will not be accepted at festival venues.
