This year marks the 20th anniversary of Mountainfilm on tour and this year's local event is scheduled to be held on November 6 & 7. Local hosts and event sponsors at Watercolor have added two new twists for this year's attendees of the ever popular 30A Fall event.
In order to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to safely see their extraordinary line-up of feature films, the festival is slated to be relocated to the Watersound Origins community. By moving Mountainfilm on Tour, the event attendees will experience an old fashioned drive-in style event this year. Additional online virtual viewing options which are being offered free of charge have also been added for those who prefer not to attend public events at this time.
Drive-In style viewing will be on Friday evening November 6th at the Origins Golf Course located at 530 Village Commons Drive, Watersound FL 32461.
There will be no lawn seating available and attendees will remain in their parked cars. Audio access for the films will be available via attendees' vehicle radio. To insure safety and social-distancing for everyone, food and beverages will not be available for purchase this year and everyone is encouraged to bring your own. This year's tickets will be $30 per car. To purchase your Mountainfilm On Tour tickets- Click Here
Complimentary Virtual Program Online Schedule will be available Friday & Saturday, Nov. 6 & 7
While the virtual online option is complimentary this year, a reservation is still required in order to receive a link to view the films. The link will be valid for viewing for 48 hours and is specific to each individual ticket holder and only available to click one time during the weekend beginning Friday. Streaming options require a strong WiFi connection and may be viewed on devices including mobile, tablet, desktop or tablet.
