Starting this Memorial Day Weekend and running through Labor Day, you can enjoy free day-use admission (from 8 a.m. to sunset) at Grayton Beach State Park and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, thanks to Visit South Walton. These parks are prime examples of why almost 40% of South Walton’s land is preserved.

Grayton Beach State Park offers easy parking and access to a full mile of stunning beachfront. The park spans nearly 2,000 acres and features a boat ramp on Western Lake, perfect for both freshwater and saltwater fishing. Canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding let you get up close to the unique salt marsh ecosystem. If you prefer to stay on land, there's a nature trail through the pine flatwoods that's great for hiking and biking.

At Topsail Hill Preserve State Park, you’ll find three rare coastal dune lakes. While motorized boats aren’t allowed, shore fishing is a popular activity. The surrounding old-growth forests and wetlands are perfect for hiking and bird watching.

Both parks offer the perfect mix of eco-exploration and laid-back fun on South Walton’s sugar-white sand beaches.  LEARN MORE HERE!
