Tracey, a native of North Carolina, and her husband, Dean moved to the Emerald Coast in 2001 from bustling South Florida. The couple was working for large corporations in the environmental field. They moved to their preferred laid-back area of Walton County to start a family.
They were drawn to Walton County for its natural beauty and calming vibe; including emerald green water, white sand beaches, untouched state forests, great fishing/boating opportunities, and the rare coastal dune lakes.
Tracey has two Bachelor of Science (BS) degrees. One in textiles from the University of NC and a second BS degree in geology with a groundwater concentration from Florida Atlantic University. Her position as a geologist allowed her to make a move to the Gulf Coast area and open a local office with her then present company. Her husband started the engineering department of a long established (1970s) surveying company. The couple now share ownership of that business with two partners.
The couple has two sons who have been educated and enjoyed sports in the great A+ rated schools in the Santa Rosa Beach area. When Tracey is not assisting real estate clients, she enjoys spending time with family, watching her sons play baseball for the high school, reading, traveling, gardening, and boating.
Having lived on the Emerald Coast for the last 20 years, Tracey has observed the landscape of the area change somewhat. The area now draws more visitors to our still quaint communities along the Gulf Coast. Tracey has been an active member of the community, she is excited to be turning that community focus toward real estate.
